Vivid orange in colour and carrying a big body from loads of Oats. Strata hops lead the pack, bringing layered notes of tropical fruit including; mango, passion fruit, melon, and some citrus in the form of grapefruit. There is also a dankness to this great variety from Indie Hops in the US.
Struggling to name a new beer was made a little easier with some inspiration from a National Treasure, Robert Mortimer, on his latest 'Would I Lie To You?' appearance. As we now know, if you don't know what they're called, you call them Mary Candles.

Tap at The Hive Crowthorne, 5th March 2022. Pours a light haze and orange. Aroma is fresh oranges and citrus pith. Taste is well balanced, pithy orange, bittersweet. Pretty good
