Can at home, from somewhere onlinesville, 02/06/20 - last day of the summer ! Black pour with a well presented khaki cap that stays for the show. Nose is bitter roast, Cola bottles, light charr, earthy hop, cocoa sprinkle, dark malts, light spice, dusty red berries. Taste comprises roast malts, cacao nibs, moderate charr, pine needle, dried berry fruits, baking powder, toasted brown sugars, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close doused with balanced earthy hop bitterness and cloaked in a roasty jacket. Solid on point CDA!

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Trembling Madness. Pours clear, dark brown with a foamy, beige head. Great, classically styled CDA, well roasted malts, moderate sweetness, a little sticky cocoa, charred pine, earth. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, further ashy roast, baking cocoa, some grapefruit and orange rind, more burnt pine. Lingering, pleasant bitterness. Excellent.
