Bright, clean, biscuity and toffeeish malt notes. Medium bitterness. Decent balance. Surprised this was the style they made the best.

On tap at Campio, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a touch of dry toffee. Flavour is dry and malty, with bready malt ans a touch of toffee. Clean, dry, decent malt base. It’s alright.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a beige head. Dry grassy nose. Flavour has lots of dry grass, toasted bread; good level of bitterness. Decent carbonation. A bit lacklustre, but pretty solid.

473ml can. Pours a clear copper amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of toasted bready pale malt, wood and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, wood, faint chocolate and spicy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and soft carbonation. Crushable.
