Can at home picked up from Brewdog Tower Hill. An oily deep black brown coloured pour with a rich dark tan head. Aroma is big rich, woody roast, cakey malts, ashy, some spice. Hint of dungy roast on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rich layered meaty roasted malts, biter ash, umami, salty roast, liquorice, burnt cocoa. Long lingering bitter choc roast. Palate is lush, semi sweet, oily, fine, moderate carbonation. Really rich and layered. Lovely.
