Bottle at home from Grumpy Goat, 27th April 18. Pours black, fairly flat. Aroma is black treacle, cocoa. Taste is salted liquorice, bitter, black treacle, coffee, liquor, barrel, really complex, delicious impy.

Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Black pour, no head. Nasal tigling aromas of liquorice, black treacle, soy sauce, raisin, woodsmoke, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, fresh tobacco. Taste of soy sauce, salt, notes of whisky, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, tons of smoke, treacle toffee. Lots of complexity and developing flavours. Extremely well crafted brew.
