Can purchased at silver strand liquor, drunk after walking in Annie's Canyon and playing in the sand at north La Jolla. I bought it for the turtles theme, hope it's good! Should have been rating #1989 but here we are a decade late, #1999. Pretty clear dark golden amber, moderate head. Citrusy, slightly tropi caramel laced nose. Malty start for sure, bitterness in check for WC IPA. Well rounded flavor, mid body but not super complex. Flavor is not too long lasting except a tinge of grapefruity bitterness at the back end.
