Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Very dark red with a thick creamy off-white head. Medium to full bodied with light roasted malts in its aroma and taste with some dryness in its texture with some chocolate evident in its aftertaste.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn crema head. Nose - dark chocolate and raisins with a creamy backdrop. Taste - more of the same. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - nice stout. More fruit than most.
