Crisp & lively, the hazy smoothness of this unfiltered White Ale is roused by the crackling of spring spices. From a hint of sweetness from orange peel & plum to the peppery bite of fresh ground coriander, the subtle blend of spices creates just the right refreshing kick to signal that spring is on its way. Cheers!

Bottle. Musty orange and wheat malt aroma. Hazy deep straw gold with a large white head. Fruity wheat malt and prickly spice flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.

On draught. Slight orange, scant sweet wheat and slight soapy. Very hazy pale orange with a white head. Very thin, watery body with orange and wheated malt. Orange more pronounced on the back half. Not bad, but not interesting.

Draft - Lots of orange and a little wheat. Hazy orange with a white frothy head. Orange, spice and fizzy. Too much orange and not enough beer. Over carbonated to the point of pop.

A hazed golden wit with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light banana and faint cloves. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light signs of oxidation, banana, cloves, light buttery notes, so-so. On tap at Yard House Honolulu.

On tap at Berryman. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a nice creamy white cap and good thick creamy lacing. Spicy nose, kind of Christmasy. There is a smooth candy cane-like aroma with oranges and hints of honey, tangerine. Gets much better as it warms up. Refreshing with a little stickiness. Quite tasty with the spices (maybe light cinnamon), mild fruity oranges and very mild Belgian Ale yeast. Took my a while to try and put my finger on what I felt all around. It was candy like the Popeye cigarettes. I quite like this twist on a witbier.

Draft. A- Citrus, spicy, oranges, fruity, wheat. A- Yellow Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Wheat, oranges, fruit loops, spices, slightly sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- A darn good beer. Very easy to drink and balanced well. I was expecting it to be over spiced but everything blended so nicely. I was very impressed with what I was expecting to be another run of the mill Sam Adams seasonal. Had a fruity cereal taste that I very much enjoyed.

On tap at the Wild Wing Cafe in Alpharetta. Pours a slightly hazy, light yellow, with a medium, off-white head. Lots of lemons and lemon peels, coriander, and whole grain. Light citrusy sweetness and malty sweetness, and practically no bitterness. Light to medium body, smooth, and relatively crisp. Overall, this is a soft, drinkable, and mellow witbier; very true to style.
