Black beer, tan head. Big malty aroma. Flavour has rich chocolate, vanilla, sweet and toasty malt, a good waft of tonka. Rich body and the maltiness really binds everything together in the finish. There's a warmth to this and it's nice and rich too. Very pleasant indeed.

Keg at BrewDoge Shepherds Boost, 19/01/24. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, umami vibes, light spice, liquorice. Taste comprises toffee, chocolate, molasses, spice, brown sugar melt, treacle toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough stout.
