CASK handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear gold colour thin white head. A little citrus hop on aroma. Light malts in mouth. A little grassy. Some fruit on the finish. Not much bitterness. A not very exciting golden ale.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 5.5
Cask at the Thirty Nine Steps, Broadstairs, 24/11/23. Clear golden with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is airy malts, cereals, lemon rind, grains, herb. Taste comprises herb, hedgerow, grains, straw, lemon nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable gold ... on the dull side for me.
