330mL bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of peat, tons of tart dark fruits, and some roast. Flavour is intense, with big peat, charred notes, light smoke, big roast, and plenty of dark dried fruits. Remarkably smooth for a near-17% beer. There’s nice peated notes. The palate is oily, quite viscous, and very fruity. A bit too viscous and rough but it has some nice complexity to it.

330mL bottle. Pours deep dark brown with a very small tan head. Roasted malts, dark sugars, and a nice touch of peat on the nose. Flavour has bready malts, some crusts, dark sugars, and a peaty finish. More peat as it warms up. I'm a fan.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 03/09/23. Black with a thin khaki head that doesn't stay around. Nose is dark malts, peated notes, charr, light bonfire, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises dark malts, peated bite, bonfire, charr, fruit cake mix, spice, dates, figs, ashen tones. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a good spike of alcohol. Solid complex impy ... the peat is well balanced and it sips easy for the big ABV.
