Can from a Beer Merchants bargain mystery box. It pours clear pale bright yellow - gold with a few bubbles on top to begin with. The aroma is soft, sweet - sour, bright, crunchy green apple, gooseberry, soor blooms, melon, white grape, white wine and dull barnyard. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, quite clean, tart, puckering, zingy, crunchy green apple, white grape, gooseberry, touch of tannin, apple skin and a muted nod to the farmyard. Finish is bone dry. Average body and spritzy, prickly carbonation. Nice one. Has a dry white wine vibe about it. Moreish.

Can at the Time and Tide Taphouse, Sandwich, 26/08/23. Almost clear light golden yellow with a good sized white cap as it goes for a cider. Nose is cooking apples, straw, apple skins, hedgerow. Taste comprises apple skins, light orchard wood, tannins, straw, grains. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Okay drop if a little stuck in 3rd gear.
