Bottle split at GBBF '23, day 2 thanks to young Daniel Rotter, 02/08/23. Light chestnut brown to amber with an off white cap that retains well. Nose is stewed fruits, grains, dark malts, straw. Taste comprises umami, dried fruit rinds, mellow oxidisation, herb, hedgerow. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad for the age.

GBBF Day 2. Rot box purchase by Dan the Man. Hazy gold amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Papery malts, thin caramel. Reasonable floral ripe orange Dry finish. Not a bad rotter but no comparison to the Ansell's that proceeded it.
