Gravity cask at the GBBF Winter 2023 Festival, day 2 at Burton On Trent Town Hall, 17/02/23. Golden amber with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is stewed fruits, caramel, fruit cake, grains. Taste comprises biscuit malts, toffee, dates, caramel, fruit slice, kiss of booze. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Not bad.

Cask at the great British winter beer festival. A mostly clear amber orange coloured pour with a lasting loose a halo of white head, aroma is tangy, orange, zesty, earthy orange, jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet orange marmelade, grass, sticky caramel. Npalate is semi sweet nutty. Light tang. N mellow carbonation. Not bad.

Cask (gravity) at Last Heretic, Burton on Trent. Pours a golden amber with minimal off-white head. There’s marmalade and sweet malts in the aroma here. Mouthfeel gives autumn fruitd, marmalade and tangerines with some evidence of alcoholic strength, and a sweet stickiness. Finish is fruity. Awesome – very drinkable.
