Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 12C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L128N. AROMA: hop aroma of a citric and slight fruity nature that rapidly vanishes, leaving only a caramelly and slight sweet malt aroma. slight background diacetil. APPEARANCE: muddy slight dark ambar color with material in suspension. Excessive carbonation resulting in a very large ivory head with average retention. TASTE: caramelly flavour with very faint fruity hop flavours. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with excessive carbonation. OVERALL: an IPA with low hop aromas and flavours. Possibly an old batch.

Bottle at PBFX. Hazy orange color, small white head. Some fruityness, harsh pepper in the nose. Doesn’t feel fresh or Nelson Sauvin. Medium-bodied. Acidic tropical fruityness. Some yeasty flavors. Tolerable.
