Bottle split at the first Canary Wharf / Westferry Circus tasting in 2.25 years ... who knew back then ... picked up from Yards & Crafts online, 09/06/22. Black with a decent tan cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is pine needle, dried fruits, raisins, cocoa sprinkle, dusty hops. Taste comprises dark malts, charr, light spice, blackcurrant, pine nip, toffee, dried fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Tidy enough CDA.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Cloin. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of toasted pine, earth, cocoa. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carboarnion. Balanced finish. Solid.
