500ml botlle, 6.3 % abv, bought from djoeye. A beige, lacing head to a next to clear copper coloured body. Marmalade aroma. Flavoured with berry fruit and caramel. Prolonged finish. Medium bodied. Pleasing, just a tad too sweet though (Shared with Finn 24.08.2016).

Bottle in our shabby Helsinki apartment. Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has good fine minerally carbonation. Dry malts, some caramel sweetness. Grey smoke. Some dry citrus. Vague pukey note. Dry finish. Doesn’t hang together very well.

A brown beer, a head is weak and blond. Aroma has strong redcurrants and berries, slightly caramel malts, some wet pine forest. Taste has red currants, some toffeeish and bready maltyness and needles of juniper. Medium bodied, low carbonation. This Rekola’s beer is also unique, good juniper but still not very succesfully.

Tap @SOPP
Dark ruby-brown color, good beige head. Caramel, sweetish malty nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel, rye and juniper in the flavor. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Clean and easy but same time strong beer. I liked it and it is perhaps the best beer from Rekola so far.

Draught @ Villi Wäinö
Aroma is rather light with just faint traces of kotikalja and roasted malt. Flaovour is sweet and rather malty with some ripe fruits and brown sugar. Feels actually quite worty with all the sugar and malt. The juniper really just thwhispers at the end, just like the beer name says, and doesn’t even get stronger towards the end of the glass. Feels like a dark Belgian ale. And my backspace key is broken.
