Day Tripper is a low ABV hazy pale at only 2.8%. Although not strong in alcohol, it has a huge flavour. Hopped with Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin at 8g/L. Maris Otter malt is backed up by lots of oats and wheat and mashed at 70°C to maintain plenty of unfermentable sugars that contribute to its juicy body. Water additions were kept to a minimum and it has a mid-low carbonation to keep it silky smooth. All the attributes of a big IPA, but at a very sessionable strength.

Can split at Watford Tasting, thanks to Fergus, 11/03/22. Pale golden yellow with a good sized white head. Nose is juicy citric flesh, grass, tangerine, melon. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, melon, orange peel, soft malts, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Tidy little session affair for just 2.8%.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Fergus. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet, pithy, some minerality, lemon rind, nips of grapefruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, lightly dry finish, biscuits, lemon rind. Decent.
