Cask at the Dig Brew taproom, 12/02/22. Deep chestnut brown with a moderate off white head. Nose is nutty, dark malts, toffee, fruit slice. Taste comprises liquorice, winter cheer, toffee, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Keg at the brewery taproom. A nut brown red coloured pour with a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is subdued nutty malts twig, bark, grass. Flavour is composed of, earthy bark, woodland branch, cocoa, bitter dark fruits woody tannin. Palate is semi sweet, mellow cask condition, woody tannin to dry finish.
