Bottle shared at the Beau in London tasting, last group tasting for 7 months - who knew, thanks to LKS 11/03/20. Lightly hazed cherry red with a decent crimson covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dusty cherry skins, funk, damp straw, light smoke, mellow acidic nostril twinge, sharp cherry esters. Taste comprises dried red berries, funk cherry skins, funk, acidic bite, grass, hay bale. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced acidic rise. Solid.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from the blendery. Pours unclear purple with a creamy pink head. Gorgeous aroma, rich funky and tart berries. Light sweet flavour, assertive tartness, some woody dryness, hearty cherry bite. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Quenching finish, more vibrant tart cherries, woody dryness, a little salt. Sound.
