Can from Fountainhall Wines in Aberdeen. It pours lightly hazy reddish - brown with a decent beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, sappy, resinous, pine, tangy marmalade, pink grapefruit, toffee, caramel and some gummy candy. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, piney, sappy, resinous, pithy, zesty, pink grapefruit, bitter orange, touch green, west coast dankness, peppery spice, toffee, splash cola and light toast with a drying, bitter - sweet finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Nice example of the classic American Red. Dog Falls delivering as usual.

Can from the brewery online shop. Hazy amber body with an off-white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of toffee, orange and mashed strawberry. Flavour of caramel, grapefruit and sweet tea. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Another tasty beer from Dog Falls.

Can at the Malt Room, Inverness, 10/10/21. Clear reddish amber with a decent egg shell white cap. Nose is caramel, orange marmalade, biscuit, toasted malts. Taste fllws grapefruit, biscuit, hint of perfume, straw, light red berry pips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Fine for the style.
