Draught @ [ SOPP 2015 ] @ Railway Square / Rautatientori, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Rekola / Donut Island Orange County Sheriff IPA ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150723]

Keg at SOPP, Helsinki. Cloudy amber, small head. Orange and herbal spices up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel Fruity, almost neutral flavour. Slight salty bitterness. Basic.

Draught@SOPP Rauma 2015. Amber colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is floral, some orange as well asmild earthy notes. Flavour is toffee, yeast, some zest, and mild herbal notes. There’s also a slight strange tart/sour edge to the orange in the flavour, and I can’t figure out if it’s the beginning of an infection or something that would come with squeezed orange juice.

Tap at SOPP Rauma. Deep amber color, steady beige head. Rubbery, grassy, a bit fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Crisp orange, fruityness, harsh bitter finish. Meh.

Draught @ Ukkometso, Tampere
Aroma has orange, fruity hops and some mineral tones. Also grapefruit-like hops. Flavour has fruity hops, orange, apricot, some minerals, pineapple and fruit juice. Finishes with some grapefruit-like hoppiness. Feels a bit musty but not bad still. Drinkability is not that great, the fruit juice makes this somewhat sticky.

(Keg at Tommyknocker, Helsinki, 20150513) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, sweetness, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was musty and bitter. The aroma was promising but the taste went downhill very steeply. I was expecting a crisper approach.

Tap@ Tommyknocker, Helsinki. Amber colored, thin white head. Nice tropical fruity aroma, mild leak notes? Flavor has fruity hoppy notes, leak. thin, weird brew.

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, orange, some grape, hops and malts. Very drinkable and fresh. One of the best beers from Rekola so far.

Pours orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of juicy fruits, orange, zesty grapefruit and caramely malts. Taste is juicy, fruity and fresh hoppy with loads of orange peel, some citrus, caramel and toffee. Finish is sweetish, juicy and slightly yeasty with some orange peel and zesty notes.
