Can on the Bootle Brush, thanks to Gary for picking this up, 08/12/19. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is stewed fruits, straw, caramel, light sugars, hint of booze. Taste comprises fruit cake, caramel, sugars, gentle alcohol, prunes, sweet malts, subtle yeast esters. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost level offered. Solid triple ... flavoursome allied to not being too sweet or boozey.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Light haze on a golden amber. Slim halo of white. Nose has soft toffee. Spicy ginger biscuit. Bready yeast. Raisin and ripe plum. Taste is sweet and chewy. Some phenolic bitterness. Smooth and rich mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Long, rich, chewy, light bitterness to finish. SMOD doing their own thing.
