Keg at Mikkeller Shoreditch, 08/11/18. Hazed golden orange with a well presented off white head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is lemon rind, light floral whisper, grass, pinch of spice, orange zest. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, melon, lemon grass, light white peppery spice, trace of yeast in the background, orange peel, clove. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Top notch Wit.

Mikkeller Shoreditch, Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, sweetish. Tangy floral citrus with a mild lemon twist. Little emerging lagsr character. Light and fairly dry finish. Tangy citric linger. Tidy.

On tap at the brewpub where the beer pours with an opaque deep gold body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up wheat notes and sweet smelling peach to apricot to apple fruity esters. The taste delivers fruity and slightly grainy wheat notes to start where the wheat creates some softness on the palate. It picks up a mild pleasing sour mash sort of note as well as growing hoppiness to midway and into the finish. It ends with some lingering peach and apple like fruity esters and modest kind of vague hop bitterness. This works well and the modest sour mash thing that’s going on is something I really like. Great summer brew with a pleasing crispness and a high degree of sessionability.
