Keg at BD Soho, 16/01/19. Light cherry red with a faded crimson covering. Nose is cherry drops, stewed berries, glazed cherries, straw. Taste comprises sweet cherries, sugars, airy malts, crackers, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A pretty basic (not so) sour ... overly sweet and fruit beer-esque.

At a tasting, almost no head, hazy red color, aroma of of cherry jam and dyacetil, sweet artificial cherry flavor a bit like cherry cola with a cakey maltiness, almost no sourness whatsoever. Not really good.

Can via BrewDog online. It pours clear deep cherry red with a small, foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, mellow, ripe cherry, Victoria sponge cake and vanilla... very bakewell tart in character. The taste is crisp, yet soft, mellow, sweet ripe cherry, vanilla custard, big bakewell pudding vibes and a touch of cherry drops with a mellow finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Hard to belive this is marketed as a sour, as it has littler tartness. Much more of soft, simple fruit beer. Not a huge amount to it, but drinks easy nonetheless.
