Washington apples and peaches age in white oak whiskey barrels to create bright notes of vanilla, dried apricots and caramel flan. With a rich palate of fruit and spirituous heat of whiskey, Whiskey Peach is best drank with friends around the fire.

Sample at the cidery, 8/25/24. Clear copper. Aroma of dry apple, oak, whisky. Taste is whisky, peach, dry apple. Hint of booze. Well balanced.

On tap at Western Cider, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals subtle whiskey notes, with a touch of peachy, and gentle apple acidity. Flavour follows through, with the whiskey more pronounced, followed by tart peaches, and a touch of apple acidity. Nice use of the barrels, but I could do with a more intense whiskey character. Fun cider.

500 ml bottle bought in St. Regis, MT. Aroma is whiskey, vanilla, apple, wood; peach comes through more after it warms up. Pours clear pale golden with a thin white head that doesn’t last. Taste is sweet and tart, as expected; flavors like the aroma descriptors, along with a really strong banana note; peach isn’t noticeable until it warms up quite a bit. The whiskey and barrel come through pretty strongly. Really interesting.
