(Tap) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, soft palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Big coffee and some cream. Black pour with decent head. Roast, some nut. Bitter finish. Well balanced and properly made. Tap at brewery.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, dark bread. Pours very dark brown to black with a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste is mildly bittersweet, finishing dry, with flavors like the aroma. Faint notes of bourbon if I really think about it. Nice velvety mouthfeel. Good stuff.

On tap at Whistle Punk, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of espresso upfront, followed by vanilla, lactose and a hint of bourbon. Flavour is quite rich, with espresso, lactose, bourbon and vanilla beans. The bourbon and espresso shine nicely together. Really nice.
