Taster on Black Christmas #7. Appearance: almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma: lots of coffee and roasted malt. Taste: along the same lines with some vanilla. Overall: ok, not bad.

Dark brown. The aroma has a bit of hazelnut up front, with a whack of vanilla and chocolate. On the palate, medium body, with a lot of chocolate, a touch of nuts, and a bit of vanilla.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, light vanilla and cocoa, and dry earthy roast. Flavour is quite sweet, with vanilla, cocoa and lactose upfront, but with not much notice of the hazelnuts. Sweet and vanilla-y. Very good.

Pours black with good head and lacing. Roast. Light barrel. Nice stuff. Some vanilla, light milk. Tap at Snally.
