Taster shared with Alex. Appearance: hazy purple with a rose head. Aroma: lots of berries, some creamy and vanilla notes from oak. Taste: along the same lines, lots of berries, moderately acidic. Overall: good one.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a cloudy dark bright reddish pink with a small pink head. Aroma reveals intense berries and currants upfront, with plenty of red wine barrels pummelling through. Flavour is intense, with lots of red wine barrels, alcohol, and fruity berry notes. Fairly harmonious, but the acetic character tickles the nose hairs a bit—a little harsh. Fun stuff.

Draught at Luppolo. Bright red-purple, thick head. Very fruit forward. I quite like this one.

Draught at Luppolo, North Vancouver
Deep red colour, opaque. Intense aroma, wine barrel, funky yeast, fruit. Dry, with sharp acidity, juicy and winey, bit of acetic and dough, sour berries; strong astringent feeling in the finish.
Good degree of complexity; aggressive sourness.
