Poured from 500mL bottle (bottled 12/2023). Very dark brown with almost no light beige head. Dry oak, chocolate, mild whiskey underlay and hint of vanilla, a bit too much boozy harshness. Decent.

Dark brown, no head. Abundant vanilla, good chocolate, soft body. The vanilla stands out. Not much alcohol. Nice, sweet character.

Small pour at Stein in Leavenworth. 2023 vintage. Appearance: very dark with a dark beige head. Aroma: a lot of chocolate, American oak, sweet. Taste: along the same lines, loads of chocolate, boozy. Overall: pleased.

500 mL bottle poured. Aged for a little while in the cellar. Not quite sure how long. Beautiful bottle, equally attractive pour. Really nice layered brew, full of flavor. Nice barrel character. Blends of both rum and whiskey barrels work nicely. Lingering cocoa finish. A really smooth imperial here. Inviting whiskey aroma. This brew was quite the treat. Excellent.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with rum barrels upfront, with a little whiskey, and chocolate. Flavour is intense, with a beautiful melange of rum and whiskey barrels, some floral notes, and cocoa. Lots of complementing barrel character. Excellent.

500 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a small brown head. A big boozy nose, rum and dark malts. Hot beast here, some sweet rum adds a sort of coconut flavor, roast, licorice, light boozy whiskey. Yeah, this is awesome.
