Bottle thanks to Blazer06: Poured a reddish black with no head. Aroma is a mix of oats, roasted malt, and chocolate. The taste is a watery sweet chocolate and roasted malt, light hints of coffee.

Courtesy of Blazer06. It pours dark brown with copper edges and tan head. The aroma is sweet with malts and black licorice, dark roasted malts, some black patent malts and cinnamon. The taste is smooth, sweet and earthy. I get dark roasted malts, black patent, a touch of chocolate, a strata of earthiness and a touch of charred malts. Yum!

Tasty light oatmeal stout. A little watery. Low-bodied. Black pour. Chocolate, oat and coffee mouthfeel. It’s good if you want an oatmeal stout and don’t want to sip on just one all night. Rated 4/6/10

(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm, 25 Feb 2010) Dark brown colour, almost black, with huge frothy beige head. Malty, roasted, slightly fruity nose with soft, rounded notes of chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and a hint of blueberries. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and a mild coffee bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, the oatmeal gives it a creamy, smooth and well rounded texture. Possibly a touch to much carbonation on the tongue. Well balanced and tasty stout.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep brown with a light tan head. Aroma is creamy, with vanilla, lightly roasted coffee, milk chocolate, maybe a touch of grape. Flavor is a fair amount more roasty coffee, somewhat smoky and ashen. A little bit of bitter chocolate. Palate’s on the thinner side.
