Purple, opaque, thin pink head. Lots of berry and it’s bringing butyric. On the palate, tart and berris, no butryic, kiss of sweetness but the alcohol brings too much harsh bitterness. Not executed all that well - might take a couple batches to really bring all this swirling mess of ideas together into something coherent.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy dark pinkish red with a small pink head. Nose is full of blackberry, moderate sweetness, and some lacto. Flavour is potent, with intense blackberry, lots of sweetness, and a bit of lacto. For a beer this big, it's not very complex - the flavours are rich, but not overly deep. Fun beer.

Moderately sour, very juicy, berry purée, full bodied, with some residual sweetness.
Very good

Dark purple colour, opaque like a berry smoothie. Moderately tarr, just mostly sweet, berry puree, strong berry flavour, touch of vanilla, gets quickly cloying.
Berry bomb.
