Bottle pour at Strange Fellows. Pours black with a tan head. Loads of bourbon and coffee on the nose. Flavour has a good punch of bourbon, slightly acidic coffee. Great bourbon BA stout.

Poured from the tap (2022 vintage). Dark brown with minimal light beige head. Bourbon forward, it’s a bit hot and harsh, but should presumably mellow with time. Decent.

Bottle pour at Weathered, pours black with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with intense bourbon barrels, booze, and wood. Flavour is quite intense, with gently smoky bourbon, intense wood, and roast. This is a monstrous beer - woody and boozy, with a smoky, roasted finish. Great stuff.

Dark brown colour, near black, small head. Medium body strength for the style, nice dark sugars and dark malt flavour, this is a true bourbon bomb.

Taster on Oct-20. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: nice bourbon and creamy notes, some wood, fruits and berries, chocolate, booze, and slight earthiness. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: very good.
