We thought about brewing a fruit beer, or a hazy IPA, or a sour beer, or something a bit sweeter. We couldn’t decide, so decided “to heck with it” and did it all in one beer! 87 Steps is tart, full-bodied, smooth and abounding with pineapple fruit flavours and aromas.

On tap at Born Colorado, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of earthiness, with muted tropical fruits and a little citrus hopping. Flavour is full of guava, pineapple and subdued citrus hops. Earthy and musty, but the fruit character is nice. Pretty solid fruit beer.
