Harmony; an orderly or pleasing combination of elements in a whole. Lately, we found ourselves daydreaming about ipas circa the late 90s. This IPA is an ode to those formative years. A crushable West Coast IPA with loads of pine, Stone and citrus fruits; finishing refreshingly dry. A beer to take with you on your journey to seek balance and arrive at harmony.

Can, from Blackfish Liquor. Hazy dull amber, and not much head. The aroma shows some old school chewiness - looks like some low lov crystal made its way into this beer when the smell and appearance are put together. On the palate, yeah, same. Chewy pale crystal malt, moderate bitterness and a bit of piney, vaguely citrusy hop notes. But this isn't joyous unbridled hop, rather it's more balanced by a lot of malt, and then of course there's the diacetyl that creeps into the finish. All told, not really getting it done for me.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots earthy hops, some metallic notes, and bready malt — that hop expression ain't too pleasant. Flavour confirms the less than pleasant hop expression, with earthy hops, a cardboardy character and bready malt. Was excited about a west coast IPA, but this isn't good.
