Bottle at Oakes' Manor
Amber colour, unclear. Some malt, a bit perfumey, medium body, caramel, light sourness; it's a good strong Ale, by far not a Barley Wine though.

500ml @ Josh's place. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: some a bit sour, fruity, barrel. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: very weird, probably infected.

Amber-brown, thin head. This has a fair bit of malt - a slight biscuity, lots of caramel but a good one, toasty, is that rye barrel? It's pretty fun. Dryish, doesn't seem like a bw as much...ok English.

500mL bottle, pours a murky dark reddish brown with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out bready caramel, a little barrel, and some resins. Flavour is loaded with rye barrels upfront, with bready caramel and alcohol. For such a low ABV barley wine, this is rather hot. A little jagged but it's nicely put together.
