The third beer in our Jock Jams series was inspired by the classic lemon bar dessert. Up front you’ll get hit with a delightful tart characteristic, complementing the refreshing and bright flavours of lemon and vanilla. The zesty citrus notes are accompanied by hints of a light biscuity sweetness reminiscent of crispy pie crust for a beautiful twist that’s adds perfect balance to this beer.

Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour. It's like drinking liquid lemon meringue pie; it's gently lemony, and creamy/milky.

16oz (thx Alex for trying to keep your superiority as the most powerful TS rater, lol) at Ash's shared with Alex and Andrey. Appearance: hazy straw with weak white head. Aroma: lemony, sour, somewhat like a kompot from the black currants. Taste: lemony kettle sour. Overall: meh.

473mL can, pours an opaque murky orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lemon meringue, sweet pith, and lacto. Flavour is surprisingly nice, with sweet and sour lemon and lacto. I didn't expect this to be good, but the sweet and sour lemon character really works.

Poured from 473mL can. Murky brownish yellow with off-white head. Sweet lemon with mild underlying tartness, biscuity malt with a touch of vanilla. Definitely close to what it aims to be, though pie crust is a bit of a stretch. Decent nonetheless.
