Aroma: American oak, some sweetness.
Taste: along the same Iines, whiskey and barrel. Some fruity, kinda red apples. Roasted malt. Light bitterness. Quite smooth.
Overall: enjoyable.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense bourbon, wood and moderate roast, with a touch of fruity esters from the Belgian yeast. Flavour is full of bourbon and cocoa, with lots of barrels, chocolate, and fruity esters. Fairly boozy and chaotic, but also with lots of depth. Good stuff.
