A collaboration with our Lager loving friends at Steel & Oak, this beer features Italian grown Eraclea Pilsner malt, a clean Lager yeast and traditional Lager hops. We then dry-hopped with new age European hops Calista and Ariana, known for their subtle fruitiness for a complex and well rounded modern lager.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Skunky aroma, cereal malt and feint grass hops. This one seems like it’s gone off.

Can. Has a deep gold colour, but looks like low carbonation and no head. That's not a good look for a pilsner so I hope that the other cans are better. There's a full biscuity malt aroma, with hops that bring bright fruit notes. On the palate, it leans sweet. Just enough bitterness, but no more. Bright pears, rambutan sort of fruit notes. It's okay, but I would want to taste this with proper carbonation. The malts are probably still a bit too heavy if they're aiming anywhere near Tipopils, though.

473mL can, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice grassiness, cereal, and straw. Flavour is fresh, with lightly bitter grassy hops, cereal, and straw. Rather timid, with a gentle dry hopping. Very pleasant still.

Can from High Point, Vancouver
Pale blond colour, clean. Mild aroma of grassy hops, nice crispy malt base, moderate bitterness level, light grassy/spicy hop. Very clean, too timid, but pleasant.
