We took our award winning Imperial Oatmeal Stout and aged it in rum barrels for 11 months. After transferring to steel, it conditioned on loads of toasted coconut for a couple of weeks. Expect strong notes of toasted coconut and rum, with a smooth and creamy body.

On tap at Barnside, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with both plenty of coconut and rum barrels, having mostly drowned out the base beer. Flavour is almost cocktail-like, with lots of rum barrels and plenty of coconut upfront, with the roasted malt much further back. Thankfully, this isn't abrasive at all and brings out a nice harmony between the run and coconut. Really quite nice.
