Can from the brewery
Murky pale blond colour. Light sweetness, very light chalk, it's moderately dank, a bit more aggressive than the Talus/Citra, with more citrus peel and more citrus bitterness. Good, but it doesn't stand out.

473mL can, pours an opaque orangey yellow with a medium white head. Nose is very earthy, with dry earthy hops, some cigar ash, chalk, and bready malt. Flavour is quite bitter and chalky, with lots of yeast soup, bitter pith, bitter earthy hops, and some citrus rind. Very chalky mouthfeel and bittering hops that doesn't work. Not good.

16oz shared with Alex @ home. Appearance: a bit dirty murky blonde with a white head. Aroma: very earthy, smells like cigar ashes. Taste: along the same lines, omg, like I was eating cigar ashes. Overall: terrible IMO. The 2nd worst so far (after Diablo Cookie) beer from the brewery for me.

Can. Dull greyish beige colour and densely sedimented. Frothy head. So, slurry. The aroma is green, though not as harsh as the other one. It's got a touch of tropical fruit, but the hop character is definitely not bright - a jumble of accents and nothing standing out. I find the lowish bitterness works well, and it comes across with a bit of juiciness that I like. I prefer it to the black one, but their standard IPAs I prefer more.
