500ml @ Andrey's. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: burnt barrel, roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines, on the thin side, some fruity notes. Overall: ok.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is full of roasted malt, dry cocoa and subtle brandy - there's some oakiness. Flavour is simple, with medium roasted malt, subtle brandy, oak, and booze. There's not a lot of complexity or depth of flavour here. Roasty and oaky on the finish but without much interesting character. Nice attempt but underwhelming.
