Bottle at home. Over a year old, hope to try a fresher sample down the road. Aroma of biscuity malt, some tropical fruit notes, grapefruit, caramel, pine, hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter. A bit of a tame APA. Looking at other reviews this was malty to begin with.

Pale golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma - Malt body with a fruity hop flavour and some piney flavours that gives good bitterness - The fruity and piney hop goes into a dry bitter finish - This was good

One pint, nine oz bottle into a UK pint sleeve on 26th April 2016 in Laguna Niguel, cheers daughter for treating me to this. Orange hue to the clear amber body, beige head that tried to hang around. Hops all the way here with a semi-floral nose and a fairly bitter hop flavour. The malts do blend in nicely to balance the bitterness a little and the alcohol is just about noticeable within the brew. Liked it, pity about the ’hogwash’ on the label highlighting the breweries location and how lovely it is.

500 ml bottle from De Bierkoning. Pours a semi-opaque dark amber, with a tall, fine beige head with good retention. Smells like caramel, pine and citrus hops. The taste is bitter and refreshing, very soft mouthfeel and medium carbonation, with taste nots of caramel, pine, pineapple, sweet citrus and papaya. An excellent pale ale.
