Dark brown to black colour. Light aroma of cheese and cherries. Sweet, which is good; nurnt augar. Coffee sour berry juice.
Pleasant.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with dissipating off-white head. Maple syrup, molasses, slight sourness, hint of bourbon. Very average.

Dark, has some haze. It's tart, which isn't quite right. I still get maple on this, and some bourbon, but it does seem like something's gone off. I'm not sure when it was made but the tartness doesn't add value and I don't think it should be there.

500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks Mike!), pours black with a tiny beige head—looks flat almost. Aroma is very sugary, with molasses, brown sugar, maple syrup, and a hint of bourbon. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with lots of maple syrup, subdued bourbon, molasses, and brown sugar. That's way too much sugar. And the carbonation is nearly flat. It's a slow sipper for sure. Cloyingly sweet and not carbonated enough. It's tasty in small amounts, but has obvious flaws.
