Dark brown. Thick head. Light body. Mellow toastiness. Ok, a bit simple, but hits the spot for a basic oatmeal stout.

On tap at Main Street, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of hearty oats, some dusty dry cocoa, and a touch of roast. Flavour is dry, roasty, and hearty, with a nice dry dark cocoa character mixing with the hearty oatmeal. Moderate roast to underpin. Very sturdy and well-made. Good stuff.
