500ml bottle from Tavour. Near black pour, fine brown head settles to ring around the glass. Boozy, maple aroma, bourbon, chocolate. Taste follows with sticky, sweet maple, chocolate, coffee, then a nice burn at the finish.

500ml bottle pours out black topped with a brown head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate roast malts vanilla coffee maple and plenty bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet maple syrup roast malts chocolate bourbon barrel vanilla.

Power tasting at Matt's, bottled 2019
Pitch black colour. Compared to other big beers, the aroma is on the mild side; dark chocolate, maple, vanilla. Sweet and syrupy, thick, dark sugar, maple, chocolate, vanilla, andd oonly iin the end there is some gentle alcohol; this is immensily rich and decadent.

500ml at Matt's amenity room. Appearance: opaque brown with a brown head. Aroma: roasted/burnt sugars, some smoke, and fruity notes. Taste: THIIICK, burnt sugars, moderately smoky. Overall: exceptI don't like burnt sugars and maple, I would like it 😂

500mL bottled, pours jet black with almost no head. Nose is a bit unusual, with smoky bourbon barrels, salty sweat, molasses, burnt sugar, and a little maple — very odd aroma. Flavour is intense, with lots of bourbon barrels, maple, smoky bacon, and booze. There's an odd smoky bacon and sweaty salty character in here. Sweet and viscous, with a finish of smoked meat, maple, bourbon and alcohol. Very good, though unusual and consisting of some bizarre elements.
