What happens when we add one of our favorite hop varieties (El Dorado) to a crisp, fruity beer aged in fresh Tequila barrels for 10 months then blended with a small amount of fresh beer? You get El Dorado Reposado, an astonishing amalgam of agave, hop oils, and alpha acids. This barrel-aged beer walks an amazingly fine line between boozy tequila, patio sipper, and complex quaff.

On tap at Blind Enthusiasm, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a large white head. Aroma is loaded with tequila and wild yeast upfront, and a bit of wood. Flavour is elegant, with lots of mixed bugs, subtle tequila, and rustic saison yeast. Rustic and wild. I wish the tequila was more prominent, but the wild yeast really showcases nicely. Excellent.
