Roast and decent coffee. Black pour with good head. Light bitter finish. Decent enough, and among their better beers. Tap at brewery.

Toasty. A bit thin, and that goes for the flavours too. They don't come through with power, and I think that's because this lacks residual sugars and unfermented richness.

On tap at KBC, pours black / dirty dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is toasty, with toasted malt and a bit of earthy dry coffee. Flavour has a rather neutral malt profile, with toasted malt and soft bready notes. Neutral and lacking any character. Pretty lame.
