Our 8th turn of our continuously barrel fermented wheat ale. This ever evolving blend of barrels was conditioned on 50lbs of sliced and diced rhubarb that we collected from a few different friends in the valley. It's soft and crisp with a bit of that classic rhubarb dryness. A complex beer for complex times.

Hazy and sort of dull amber. Has a tart, vinous note but is also quite yeasty. There's a bit of bug - not great. I've enjoyed some of the other ones in this series more. I'll be back for 9 though.

On tap at Jackknife, pours a hazy bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out soft wheaty notes, with some bugs, and soft bready malt. Flavour is buggy, with a nice oak character, rustic saison yeast, and a bit of metallic character. Nice wild yeast character, with an oaky finish. No notice of the rhubarb. Good stuff.
