Ignis was brewed with Oak Smoked Wheat Malt, then soured with our house Lactobacillus culture, and conditioned on yuzu. Lightly tart and smoky, finishing with a punch of yuzu.

473mL can. Pours clear pale blonde with no head. Very gentle smokiness and yuzu citrus on the nose. Flavour has a nice punch of tart yuzu with only a touch of lemony sweetness. There's only a bit of the smoked malts on the palate, though it does finish with a nice campfire smoke. The yuzu is done nicely and the smoke is also nice though not very strong. Cleanly made.

On tap at Another Beer Co, pours a hazy golden with a small whit these. Aroma is very smoky, with lots of campfire, and a touch of citrus. Flavour is quite smoky, with lots of tart citrus and moderate campfire smokiness. Tangy, citrusy — not sure I like the yuzu in here — it clashes with the smoky base beer in a somewhat disharmonious way. It's alright.

Pale and a bit hazy. No head. Lots of oak smoke up front. Lactic tartness. Nice juicy yuzu. The yuzu is what’s different from last year, and it adds a really intriguing element to one of my favourite HoF beers.
